Smoked Pork Belly

  • 2 pounds Pork Belly
  • 4 tbsp Korean BBQ Rub (Spiceology)
  • 3 tbsp Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Sriracha Mayo
  • 3 tbsp Green Onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

Fresh Homemade Guacamole

  • 4 ripe Avocados
  • 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 2 Jalapeño Peppers, diced
  • ¼ cup Red Onion, finely diced
  • Juice from ½ Lime
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut pork belly into 1-inch-thick slices approximately 4 inches long.
  2. Place pork belly on a wire rack and use Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce as a binder.
  3. Season all sides with Korean BBQ Rub.
  4. Smoke pork belly at 250°F for 3-4 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 185°F.
  5. Prepare homemade guacamole by combining all ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate until serving.
  6. Place smoked pork belly in an air fryer at 400°F for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy.
  7. Drizzle with Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce and sriracha mayo.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
