- 32 ounces smoked sausage
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 4 tablespoons BBQ rub
- 2 cups BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 275°F.
- Slice the smoked sausage into ¼-inch thick rounds and place them into a foil pan.
- Coat the sausage with yellow mustard, then season generously with BBQ rub.
- Place the pan in the smoker over indirect heat and smoke for 60 minutes.
- Pour the BBQ sauce, hot honey, butter, and brown sugar over the sausage. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Increase the smoker to 350°F and cook for another 60 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes and brush the sauce evenly over the sausage until caramelized.
- Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy warm.
