Beer Brined Buffalo Wings are the perfect appetizer. Wings brined in beer then smoked and topped with a creamy buffalo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of chicken wings
  • 16oz Amber Beer
  • 2 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp SPG
  • 2 tbsp bbq rub
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Place your wings in a bag then pour in the beer and SPG blend then let them marinate overnight.
  2. Drain the wings then pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place in a bowl then drizzle oil over top and season with a BBQ rub and corn starch.
  4. Place them on the smoker at 325F for 1 hour flipping them half way through.
  5. In a pot, melt the butter then pour in the buffalo sauce and honey then mix. Remove from heat once combined.
  6. Brush on the buffalo sauce the last 10 minutes and let it tack up.
  7. Remove the wings once they reach 190F internal temp.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
