Ingredients

- 1 pound shaved ribeye steak (or substitute ground beef if needed)
- ½ medium yellow onion, diced
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Fries
- Frozen or fresh French fries (follow package instructions)
- Olive oil or cooking oil (if baking)
Spicy Mayo
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Toppings
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
- Queso
Instructions
- Assemble the marinade in a bowl with: 3 tbsp Rice Vinegar, ½ cup Bachan’s or Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp Sesame Oil, 3 cloves Minced garlic, 1 tbsp Ginger paste Marinate 1 pound of shaved ribeye for a minimum of 1 hour, up to overnight.
- Assemble the creamy sauce with 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar, ½ cup mayo and 2 tbsp Sriracha.
- Add the diced onion on a preheated griddle and cook for 5-7 minutes until they become translucent.
- Add the marinated shaved beef down and let it cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes each side. Shred the beef with 2 spatulas then remove once it becomes caramelized.
- Assemble on a bed of crispy fries with the cooked steak, onions, your favorite queso, creamy sauce then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
