- 8 Fresh Pineapple Slices
- 1 pint Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- ½ cup finely chopped Macadamia Nuts
- ½ cup Toasted Coconut Flakes
- Bachan’s Sweet Pineapple Sauce
- Hot Honey
- Optional for skillet cooking
- 2 tbsp light brown Sugar
- ¼ cup butter
Instructions
- Remove the outside from the pineapple then cut into into 1 inch thick slices. Remove the core with a shot glass. Or use a pineapple peeler for this process.
- Drizzle Bachan’s on each slice of pineapple then grill them over open fire until caramelized/grill marks on both sides.
- You can also cook the pineapple in a skillet. Add butter then let it melt. Cook the pineapple slice over medium high heat for 3 minutes each side – add brown sugar in the skillet at the end.
- Plate with the grilled pineapple slice on the bottom, add a scoop of ice cream on top of the pineapple. Top with toasted coconut, macadamia nuts and a light drizzle of Hot Honey.
