- 2 pounds of burger
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 cup beef broth
- 6 brioche buns
Instructions
- Season up 2 pounds of burger with your favorite beef rub and then form 2-3 large burgers
- Smoke them for about 15 mins indirect heat then sear them off over direct heat to form some nice crust
- Remove burgers and put them in a skillet and break them up. Cook for about 4-5 minutes then remove burger
- Sauté 1 finely diced onion and 3 cloves of garlic for about 4 mins
- Add in tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire, mustard and beef broth.
- Add the beef back in and mix thoroughly
- Top with cheese and a bun and enjoy
