Smoked Cheesesteak Jalapeño Poppers are the perfect game day appetizers! Loaded with crispy bacon, shaved beef, peppers onions and cheese!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shaved beef
  • ½ pound thick cut bacon
  • 12 whole jalapenos
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 block softened cream cheese
  • 8 oz shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tbsp SPG blend (salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • Cheese Wiz (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon on the griddle and remove when crispy.
  2. Dice the onion and bell pepper then cook on a griddle over medium high heat in the bacon fat. Remove when onions and peppers are softened.
  3. Add the shaved beef then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder powder. Remove once meat is browned.
  4. Combine shaved beef, bacon, onion, peppers, cream cheese, provolone cheese in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  5. Cut the jalapenos in half then remove the seed and core. Stuff each jalapeno with the mixture
  6. Place them on a wire rack then on the smoker at 325°F for 45 minutes. Remove once softened.
  7. Drizzle warm cheese whiz on top then serve warm.
