Bacon Jam Cheeseburger Sliders are the perfect meal to serve at your next gathering! Cheeseburgers, bacon jam and burger sauce on a slider.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of 80/20 ground beef
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • Slider buns (orange Pack)
  • 2 tbsp burger seasoning
  • 3 tbsp mayo (for toasting buns)

Bacon jam

  • 1 pound of thick cut bacon
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 oz bourbon

Burger Sauce

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp chipotle powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook 1 pound of diced bacon and 1 large diced onion in a skillet on the griddle.
  2. Once the bacon is crispy and the onions are soft, add 1/4 brown sugar, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and 4 oz bourbon. Cook until it thickens and is sticky then remove.
  3. Remove the slider buns from the packaging including the white tray in the bottom.
  4. Place 2 pounds of burger in the slider tray so the cooked burger will fit perfectly on the slider buns.
  5. Season with your favorite burger seasoning, then cook for 5 minutes each side. Carefully flip the burger with 2 spatulas so that the meat doesn’t fall apart and stays together.
  6. Top with pepper jack cheese and let it melt.
  7. Cut the slider rolls in half, then toast the inside of the slider buns on the hot griddle by spreading mayo on the inside of the buns. Remove when golden brown.
  8. Assemble the sliders with the cooked burger, bacon jam and burger sauce on the inside bun then slice in and enjoy!
