Bacon Wrapped Burger Stuffed Onion Rings are the bite of BBQ you didn’t know you needed until now! Each bite is packed with smokey meat flavor and will leave you craving more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 pound of bacon
  • 1 tbsp burger rub
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • Wahl Sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Slice the onion into 1/2 inch slices
  2. Place 1/4 pound of burger on the inside of a large sliced onion. 
  3. Form a hole in the middled and insert a smaller onion that will fit on the inside of the larger onion.
  4. Season the burger with your favorite burger rub, then carefully wrap with some bacon. Season all asides of the bacon using one of your favorite BBQ rubs. 
  5. Smoke the stuffed onion rings at 275°F for 60 minutes using cherry wood.
  6. Brush BBQ sauce on the outside of the bacon the last 15 minutes.
  7. Remove it from the smoker once the sauce tacks up and the burger reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Serve them up with Wahl Sauce and enjoy!
