Ingredients

  • 1 package of breakfast sausage links
  • 6 slices of white bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausages over medium heat until browned and the internal temp reaches 165°F.
  2. Take slices of white bread and cut them so they are a little less wide than the cooked sausages.
  3. Take a rolling pin and flatten the cut bread.
  4. Roll each sausage in the bread and make sure to seal the seam by pressing on it.
  5. In a bowl, combine and mix the egg, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  6. Dip each wrapped sausage in the mixture then cook it in a pan on med/low heat for 1-2 mins each side or until the bread browns.
  7. Top with some powdered sugar and serve them up with warm maple syrup.
