- 3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons of “Chicka Licka Bam Bam”
- 4 ounces Andouille Sausage
- 1 block of cream cheese
- 1 medium diced onion
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 24 wontons
- 20 ounces of canola oil
Instructions
- Trim the fat off of the chicken thighs then season with Chicka Licka Bam Bam
- Prepare and preheat your grill for direct cooking
- Grill the chicken and the andouille sausage over direct heat for 2 minutes each side then move them both to the indirect side of cooking. Once the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165°F then remove from the heat.
- Dice up the onion, then chop up the chicken and the andouille sausage into bite size pieces.
- In a bowl, combine and thoroughly mix the chicken, andouille sausage, onion, cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
- Grab a wonton and place 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the middle of it. Fold it over and secure the wonton.
- Preheat the oil to 350°F then add in 6-8 wontons and let them fry for about 1 minute each side.
- Once golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate with a paper towel.
- Serve them up hot and enjoy!
