Ingredients

- 1 pound of burger
- 1 large yellow onion
- 2 hoagie buns
- 6 slices of American cheese
- Iceberg lettuce
- 1 large tomato
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Dice up an onion then place it down on a hot griddle for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the burger patties on the griddle and let them cook for 3-4 minutes each side.
- Chop the burger up and mix with the onions then add the American cheese on top. Mix the cheese in once it melts.
- Assemble the sandwich: Spread mayo on the inside of a toasted hoagie bun. Add the meat/cheese, lettuce, tomato then top it with ketchup.
- Roll the sandwich up in some aluminum foil and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
