Chopped Italian Sliders: The Perfect Slider For Any Occasion.

If you’re looking for an easy, crowd-pleasing recipe that delivers big flavor in a small package, these chopped Italian sliders are exactly what you need. Packed with bold deli meats, tangy banana peppers, creamy dressing, and melty provolone cheese, these bite-sized sandwiches are ideal for game days, parties, or anytime you want a no-fork, no-fuss meal.

This recipe takes everything you love about a classic Italian sub and turns it into one perfect bite on toasted sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Why You’ll Love These Chopped Italian Sliders

Unlike traditional slider recipes, these sandwiches are fully chopped before assembling. That means every slider is evenly loaded with meat, cheese, veggies, and dressing—no sliding toppings or uneven bites.

The chopped filling also makes them fast to assemble and easy to serve, whether you’re feeding a crowd or prepping ahead of time.

They’re bold, savory, tangy, and just a little creamy, all layered onto buttery toasted slider buns for a finish that’s downright irresistible.

Ingredients You’ll Need for Chopped Italian Sliders

These sliders come together with simple, deli-style ingredients:

  • 8 oz shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 4 oz smoked deli ham
  • 8 oz large deli pepperoni
  • 8 oz salami
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Thin slices of red onion
  • ¼ cup banana peppers or pepperoncinis, sliced
  • ¼ cup (1 cup of mayonnaise works if doubling)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup pepper relish
  • ½ tbsp SPG seasoning
  • King’s Hawaiian Orange Pack rolls (or other sweet Hawaiian rolls), toasted on the inside
  • Melted butter, for toasting

How to Make Chopped Italian Sliders

Step 1: Chop the Filling

Start by setting a large cutting board on your counter. Add the shredded lettuce, deli ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone cheese, tomato slices, and red onion.

Using a sharp knife, chop everything into small, bite-size pieces. The finer the chop, the better the texture in each slider.

Step 2: Mix the Dressing

Over the chopped pile, add the mayonnaise, banana peppers, olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, pepper relish, and SPG.

Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated and well combined.

Transfer the mixture from the cutting board into a bowl so it’s ready for assembly.

Step 3: Toast the Slider Buns

Slice the slider buns in half. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brush it lightly with melted butter. Toast the inside of the rolls until they’re golden brown. This step adds flavor and helps prevent soggy buns.

Step 4: Assemble and Serve

Spoon the chopped Italian mixture onto the bottom half of the toasted rolls, spreading it evenly. Place the tops of the rolls on, then slice into individual sliders.

Serve immediately while everything is fresh and flavorful.
