How to make Raspberry Jalapeno Ham and Cheese Sliders
Preparing the sliders
Preheat your oven or grill to 325° F. Using an oven is a lot easier since we are only reheating the sliders to melt the cheese.
Prepare your leftover ham or deli meat from the store by making sure you have nice thin slices. If you’re using leftover ham, be sure to trim any excess fat pieces for the best bite.

Take out the sweet Hawaiian rolls then cut them in half with a serrated knife. Set the top bun aside then spread a layer of Mayo evenly across the bottom bun.
Assemble the Raspberry Jalapeno Ham and Cheese Sliders
Spray some cooking spray in a disposable aluminum foil pan or baking dish then add the bottom buns. Next, add 4 slices of swiss cheese so they cover the entire bottoms of the slider buns with mayo.
Add some of the leftover ham or the thinly sliced deli meat on top of the layer of swiss cheese. You can add as much ham as you want, but I recommend 1-2 pounds of ham.
Add another 4 slices of swiss cheese on top of the ham. You could also sub out this layer of cheese for any of your favorite slices of cheese. This will add more flavor to the sliders!
Combine ½ cup of of raspberry jam and ¼ cup of jalapeno jam in a small bowl then mix them thoroughly.
You can play around with this ratio – if you like a little more heat just add extra jalapeno jam to the mixture.
Spread the sweet heat jam mixture on the inside of the top buns then place the buns on top of the sliders.
In a small bowl, combine then mix: 1/2 stick of butter, 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp of poppy seeds, 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tbsp of minced onion and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
Brush all of the butter mixture on the tops of the rolls with a pastry brush. Make sure all sides are coated so that the seasoning adheres to the buns for the most flavor.
Cooking the sliders
Place the assembled ham sliders into the 325° F preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove them once the buns start to become golden brown and the cheese is nice and melty.
Place the hot ham cheese sandwiches on a cutting board then slice them into individual sliders with a sharp knife. Serve them up warm and enjoy!
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container and enjoy them the next day!
