How to make Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders
Prepare and cook the bacon and chicken
Start by trimming any excess fat off of the chicken thighs then season them on both sides with your favorite BBQ rub.
Grill them over a medium-high heat of 375°F flipping the chicken every 2-3 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
To save time: skip this step and use leftover chicken or grab a rotisserie chicken from the store and replace the grilled chicken with shredded chicken.

While the chicken is grilling, cook bacon in a pan. Once it’s crispy, remove from the pan and place on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb the excess fat.

Once the chicken is done grilling, remove it from the grill, then let the thighs rest for 5 minutes. Chop up both the bacon and the juicy chicken thighs into bite sized pieces.
Assemble the layers of the sliders
Assemble the sliders by placing the bottom portion of the bun in an aluminum foil pan. Start with a bottom layer of cheese. You can use a kind of cheese for this recipe, but I used 4 slices of Colby jack cheese.
Add the chopped chicken pieces, crumbled bacon, green onions, then top with 4 slices of pepper jack cheese and place the top of the rolls back on. If you want to add additional flavor, add a layer of BBQ sauce to the top of the chicken as you assemble.

Place some butter in a small bowl and melt it in the microwave. Brush the melted butter all over the tops of the slider buns with a pastry brush. Then sprinkle on a ranch seasoning packet over the top of them. You can also make a garlic butter by adding minced garlic or garlic powder to the butter.
Cook the sliders
Place the pan back on the grill indirect of the heat at 325°F for 15 -20 minutes until the buns begin to crisp up and the cheese melts. You can easily throw these in your oven, but I like putting them back on the grill since it is already heated up.
Once done, remove them from the grill then carefully take them out of the pan using a spatula. Place them on a cutting board and cut each individual slider.

Serve them up with a side of homemade ranch to dip them in and enjoy!
