How to Make These Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

These sliders come together incredibly fast, making them ideal for hungry guests or hectic nights. Here’s how to make them step-by-step.

1. Prep Your Oven and Rolls

Start by preheating your oven to 325°F. This lower temperature allows the tops of the rolls to crisp gently without burning while the cheese melts beautifully inside.

Carefully slice the soft Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a foil pan or baking dish—both work great for keeping everything together while baking.

2. Build the Ultimate Pizza Layers

Begin by laying down all six slices of mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of the rolls. Mozzarella melts into that signature stretchy, gooey goodness that gives these sliders their irresistible pull-apart moment.

Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over the mozzarella. This creates the saucy base that ties everything together and mimics a classic pizza.

Next, pile on the slices of pepperoni. Don’t be shy—this is where the flavor really shines. If pepperoni is one of your favorite pizza toppings, feel free to double up.

Add six slices of provolone cheese over the pepperoni for extra richness and that perfect melty cheese blend.

Place the top of the rolls back on to finish assembling the sliders.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Topping

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, chopped basil, chopped parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and optional garlic powder or onion powder for extra punch. This mixture mimics an herby garlic butter you’d find at your favorite pizza shop.

Brush the buttery mixture generously over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese on top for a salty, nutty finish.

4. Bake to Perfection

Cover the sliders loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. This helps melt the cheese without toasting the rolls too quickly.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the tops turn golden and slightly crisp.

5. Serve and Enjoy

Carefully remove the sliders from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Slice them apart and serve with extra warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Whether you’re hosting a big crowd or just craving something comforting, these pepperoni pizza sliders hit every mark. They’re cheesy, buttery, easy to make, and guaranteed to become a new family favorite.
