  • 4 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ red bell pepper, finely diced
  • ½ cup green onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 6 Large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 3 tbsp BBQ rub
  • ⅓ cup Bachan’s Original

These tortilla beef kabobs ingredients come together beautifully, creating bold, layered flavors that hold their shape while grilling.

How to Make Beef Tortilla Kebabs

Step 1: Build the Flavor Base

Begin by grabbing a large bowl and combining your ground beef, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, minced cloves of garlic, diced red pepper, parsley, BBQ rub, and Bachan’s Original.

Add ingredients to bowl.

Mix thoroughly until the entire bowl mix becomes cohesive. This ensures every bite has balanced seasoning, fresh veggies, and melty cheese throughout the beef layer.

Step 2: Prepare Your Tortillas

Stack all six soft tortillas together to form one neat large tortilla stack. Using a sharp knife, trim off the rounded edges to create a clean square shape.

Cut Tortillas.

This step helps the kebabs cut evenly and ensures the tortillas crisp up uniformly on the grill.

Step 3: Create the Meat Layers

Divide your seasoned beef mixture into five equal servings. Spread each portion into a single layer across five tortillas, being sure to reach all the way to the ends of large tortillas.

Spread meat on tortillas.

Even coverage gives the kebabs their signature structure and helps achieve that perfect layer of meat in every square.

Step 4: Stack, Slice, and Skewer

Take your five beef-covered tortillas and stack them on top of one another. Place the final plain tortilla on top, pressing gently to secure the layers.

Stack layers of tortillas.

With your sharp knife, cut the entire stack into three equal strips. Lay each strip flat and insert three Tortilla Kebab Skewers, spacing them evenly.

Tortillas cut into three rows.

Once your skewers are in place, cut between each one to form individual kebabs.

Place skewers.

This step transforms your layered tortillas into perfectly shaped kebabs ready for the grill.

Step 5: Grill to Crispy, Golden-Brown Perfection

Place the kebabs over direct heat on the grill for 2–3 minutes per side. This creates beautifully crispy tortillas with a delicious golden-brown exterior.

Place on direct heat.

Next, move them to indirect heat and let them cook for about 10 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 155°F. This ensures the beef cooks safely while the tortillas don’t burn.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

Transfer your kebabs to a platter or baking sheet and finish them off with sesame seeds, chopped green onion, and a generous drizzle of Bachan’s Original.

Transfer to tray or plate.

The result? Flavor-packed, vibrant, irresistible Beef Tortilla Kebabs ready to serve.
