Dice a large onion then place it in the skillet over medium heat and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
Cook ground beef with the sauteed onions in the skillet then season with your favorite burger rub.
Once the ground beef is browned, add in crumbled bacon pieces, diced pickles, Worcestershire sauce, 6 slices of American cheese then mix thoroughly.
Assemble egg roll on a XL wonton wrapper. add a folded cheese slice, 1/3 cup of the meat mixture and 1/2 ounce of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Coat edges of egg roll with water then fold the corners in and roll.
Make a seal by folding over the top corner.
Assemble the dipping sauce by combining all of the ingredients into a small bowl. Mix thoroughly then set aside in the fridge for serving.
Shallow fry the egg rolls for 2-3 minutes each side in an inch of vegetable oil that’s been preheated to 350 degrees f.
As an alternative, you can cook the egg rolls in an air fryer basket or you can make baked egg rolls in the oven.
Remove them from the hot oil once they’re golden brown and place them on a wire rack with a baking sheet underneath. Slice them in half then serve them hot with the dipping sauce and a side of French fries then enjoy!
If you happen to have leftover egg rolls, you can store them in an air-tight container for 2-3 days.
